Watercolor Painting- SOLD OUT

Saturday September 24, 2016 at Casa Joshua Tree, 11am -5 pm

Join us for a full day of painting and inspiration with Casa Joshua Tree owner and artist, Lindsay Hollinger. Drawing inspiration from the magnificent high desert landscape, you will learn techniques for watercolor painting with a focus on heart-led explorations in pigment. It will be a relaxing and fun environment to learn, and make new friends along the way. This workshop is for both beginning and experienced painters, and first-timers are welcome: no experience is necessary

As a workshop participant, you will receive:

  • all supplies needed (basic paint set, watercolor pad, brushes, re-usable palette)
  • personalized instruction with artist Lindsay Hollinger in a small class setting
  • two painting sessions: morning & afternoon
  • a delicious vegetarian lunch
  • light snacks and beverages
  • evening happy hour
  • a few surprises!

Bonus: Lindsay will be leading an optional hike in the park on Sunday morning, with a stop for some plein air landscape painting!

Workshop Participants are responsible for their own transportation and hotel/ airbnb accomodations. Once you are registered, we will send you detailed information with our suggestions for traveling to Joshua Tree and places to stay.

About Lindsay:

Lindsay Hollinger is an artist based in Joshua Tree & Los Angeles, California. Her paintings seek to capture emotion, landscape and fleeting moments in colorful abstract works on paper. In addition to being a painter, Lindsay’s professional work has focused on creative direction, design, illustration, and creative coaching/management for the gift and home décor industries. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Syracuse University and is a Starting Bloc Fellow.
